Buttercup Beach House is a spectacular West Coast,
oceanfront, vacation rental home on Quadra Island, a short 10 minute
ferry ride from Campbell River on Vancouver Island, BC. Located on a
private beach, Buttercup Beach House boasts an intimate view of Heriot
Island and Heriot Bay. Beyond it lays Rebecca Spit, Cortez Island and
the spectacular Coast Range Mountains.
A floral path down a short trail takes you from the
parking area to the home, gardens, a private lawn area and, down a private
staircase, to the beach. A geodesic dome built in the 1960’s forms
part of the unique and recently restored vacation home.
Buttercup Beach house comfortably sleeps four. There is one bedroom and a loft bedroom (each with a queen sized bed), a fully equipped kitchen that looks
out to the ocean, a library, cozy living room, and a laundry room. You can watch the sun
rise and enjoy phenomenal views from the secluded balcony which hovers
over the water at high tide. Other amenities include a TV, DVD, high
speed internet access, BBQ and linens.
Access to the beach is only steps from your front door and is conducive
to exploring the vast array of marine life including: otters, eagles,
